Our Story
1995
Four founders made their dreams a reality by founding Shanghai Freemen Life Sciences to deliver better health to all.
1997
David Zhang (CEO), aka “Glucosamine Godfather” became one of the first individuals to import Glucosamine and Chondroitin into the US.
1998
Introduced Glucosamine into the Japan market.
2003
Established US Headquarters in NJ to support US customers.
2005
Formed Shanghai Freemen Chemicals with a focus on agricultural chemical intermediates.
2008
Shanghai Freemen Group earned “Top five largest private export & import chemical enterprises in Shanghai” title.
2009
Established Shanghai Freemen Japan in Tokyo.
2010
Moved Shanghai Freemen LifeScience to its current headquarters in Shanghai.
2014
Established Shanghai Freemen Europe in the Netherlands.
2015
Established Shanghai Freemen West Coast office in Brea CA.
2018
Established Shanghai Freemen Australia.
2022
Company rebrands to Freemen Nutra Group
